A leather jackets and accessories manufacturer out of South East Asia that historically manufactured for many known brands across the United States of America and Europe wanted to bring their jackets directly to the world. eCommerceMD was tasked to make this vision a reality.

We covered everything from developing the brand strategy, creating a style guide, conducting photoshoots, managing inventory and optimizing their digital presence to have a top notch user experience to implementing a personalized digital marketing plan and helping Leather SCIN rank on search engines.

eCommerceMD realized that the manufacturer was removing two layers of middleman (distributor and reseller) from the traditional channels and had a huge value gain as part of that. Many slogans were presented to finalize with “Genuine leather, premium quality jackets at half the price.”

LeatherSCIN.com was launched with 200 products using our eCommerceMD eCommerce Builder. The products were sorted and priced and product descriptions and size guides were created by our eCommerceMD team. During phase 1 following social media handles were also launched on various social platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin. Shopping channels were created like Google Shopping and Facebook Shopping. Our digital marketing team worked on on-page website optimization for better ranking on search engines.

During phase 2 of the project we kept the website improvements ongoing to make the Leather SCIN website more user friendly and give the customers a seamless shopping experience. We also continued to make progress with digital marketing by implementing our tried and tested organic SEO Marketing techniques for achieving better ranking on search engines. Our content team was engaged in creating catchy and informative material for the website as well as for all off-page activity. Helping in ranking the Leather SCIN site on search engines as well as creating value for their customers.

We launched a B2B Reseller Growth Program for SCIN by shaking hands with other non-competing brands that wanted to get SCIN products on their website for re-selling. This gave SCIN a chance to fan out and target its customers in the North American and Canadian market. With this program we helped SCIN expand its reach and create a lasting brand image. Our eCommerceMD experts also launched a specialized Affiliate Program for Leather SCIN. This program gave their customers a chance to become SCIN Brand Ambassadors. Ultimately providing the brand more exposure and also creating a loyal customer base for it worldwide.

Results

SCIN Started to produce results in the first winter season in North America and generated engagement, interest and orders from North America and Canadian Market. SCIN has limited success in the UK and Australia for the reason brand owners decided to solely focus on the US market and work with new partners we were able to sign during 2022.

Future

SCIN as a brand and eCommerceMD as a vendor uncovered a great deal of knowledge during the first 9 months of engagement. SCIN has retained eCommerceMD as eCommerce vendor of choice and we look forward to help SCIN grow many folds in 2023 and beyond.
